Sarah's room

I have one immediately available unfurnished bedroom for $400/month. It is pretty small but comfortable! The common areas of the house- sunroom, living room, and kitchen- are already furnished but I’m open to redecorating or rearranging et cetera. There are two full bathrooms, W/D in the basement, and plenty of storage space in the basement as well. The house gets a lot of natural light and is really spacious and comfortable. We get some bugs in the summer and it’s drafty in the winter but that’s sort of unavoidable in a house this old. The location is great: walking distance from Hampden and Charles village, catty-corner from the BMA and Wyman Dell, a couple blocks away from 83. Parking can be annoying because of street cleaning days but it’s usually easy to find parking on the block. I have a little cat so if you are allergic or have pets of your own this might not be the best fit! She’s very friendly and snuggly with people she just doesn’t like other animals. Utilities are split 3 ways, internet and water are usually pretty cheap but the BGE bill can run high in the winter (another old house feature). If you’re interested, I’ll give you all the info you need to apply through the rental company but in my three years here the landlord has never denied anyone and the application isn’t rigorous or annoying! I’m Sarah, I’m 26, and I’ve been here since the summer of 2018. I like music and movies and spending way too much money at sound garden and celebrated summer. When I’m home I’m usually reading or crocheting or watching bad TV. I’m laid back about pretty much everything except kitchen clutter stresses me out so I prefer sharing kitchen tools and taking turns buying staples. I’m respectful of boundaries and open to pretty much any housing dynamic. I prefer roomies that like hanging out when we’re all home but I don’t mind if you just want a place to live and nothing more. I like keeping the house mostly quiet and hosting smaller events if any (the backyard is really nice for having friends over in the summer!).
