One month’s rent deposit for any damages payments missed. A small contract will be signed for the short-term lease and deposit returned upon inspection of room and any property damages. Deposit must be paid with 1st months rent.

There’s parking on the grass inside a fence and the street has a few spots if you have your own vehicle. There’s also a bus stop right outside that goes straight downtown # 5. Other buses nearby are the 18 and the 300. They all connect to other bus routes and parts of the city.

I’m a 37 yr/o male. I have my own business and am currently enrolled in grad school. I don’t have school on the weekends and my work can vary. I bought this home 4 years ago and I love the neighborhood and people. I have 1 pit bull mix named Ley who has a really large yard to roam around in as well as a small open park next door. Ley is respectful and loves to play with other friendly dogs. My roommate Will has a cat named Ouji and they are playful buddies. All pets should be chill and able to mingle.

I don’t like frequent, large gatherings at the house since it’s kinda small. A friend or two coming over tho is fine. Communication is best instead of assuming. Month-to-month and checking in would be good to see if we’re a good fit. Don’t want to force something that isn’t working. Can do short and long term leases depending on compatibility. Anywhere from 3-6 months. Then maybe move to something more long term.

**I have some boundaries when it comes to sharing. It would be best NOT to assume everything is communal. Please ask about food, toiletries, house chores, schedules, bad habits, etc. Through past experience I find it’s best to have firm boundaries on such topics until we get to know each other better. Sometimes uncomfortable conversations must be done.

Will is a trans-man and an artist. We like to keep it pretty chill but every now and then I’ll have a couple of friends over for dinner.

Not really looking for someone who works from home since the house may get crowded. We can talk about this tho.

I do smoke cannabis though I’m not looking for a pot head. lol I’m reducing my intake and don’t want an enabler. Sometimes my roomie and I will chill in the evenings so I’m not 100% against it obviously. Again, just trying to limit myself to more influence.
