West Lakeside Place

Looking for 1 roommate for one year lease that starts July 1, 2022 with potential to sublease in May or June. Available room is fully furnished with twin-sized bed, computer desk, and closet space. The room shares one bathroom while other roommate is on opposite side of apartment and uses a half bathroom. Our apartment is fully furnished and on the third floor in a vintage, six-flat walk up in Uptown, Chicago and includes front and back balconies. The large apartment is open and shared among us. There is central HVAC, large kitchen/living/dining areas, storage and laundry in the basement. The building is in close proximity to the Lake, public transportation and grocery stores. Rent is approximately $630 per person with about $80-100 in utilities. We have a cleaning schedule and address conflicts quickly and respectfully. We love this place, and we think you will too.

One roommate: Hi everyone! My name is Richard Bright, and I go by Rich. I use he/him/his pronouns. I am a White gay cisman and first generation Romanian-American. I am currently working in private practice as a therapist, and I also help interview trauma survivors in legal cases. I commute between downtown Chicago and Northbrook for most of the week, and I am usually out of the house in the morning and do not return until later at night.

When I am not at work, I love lifting, reading fiction (DUNE series and His Dark Materials are favorites!), biking, and relaxing weekends on the couch. I’m also a big gamer and play PC games like World of Warcraft, PS4 games like Mortal Kombat and Nintendo favorites Mario Kart and Smash Bros.

I would describe myself as a compassionate, good-natured and respectful guy. I have a big sense of humor and laugh a lot. I am big on communication and working through conflicts. I appreciate roommates who are clean and respectful. I love getting to know people, and I’m excited about having someone join our apartment!

Other roommate: Hi my Name is Paula Hernandez I am 22 years old from California, moved here about 9 Months ago. I use she/her/hers pronouns. As a roommate I tend to be in my room listening to music or watching anime/ Tv shows, Or I’m at work (I work at a high school teaching a supplemental math class on algebra and geometry) . When not at work I like to paint and read as well (usually what my students recommend) Im a sucker for romance novels, I also do like to go out at night and enjoy the night. As a roommate I usually just keep to my room but do chat and catch up I do also appreciate communication and a clean, respectable roommate!
