David's room

My home is located in West Sacramento and walking distance to Target, Nugget, and several walking & Biking trails. This is a quiet neighborhood and next to a small park. Parking is never an issue. West Sacramento has easy access to the freeways - I-5, 80, and 50 and just a few miles to downtown. We are not looking for someone that telecommutes, works from home or couples, and roomies needs to work outside the home the majority of time and I would consider a commuter if the right fit. The Room are furnished and with a double mirror slide closet, A queen size sleep number bed, night stand, and dresser. The walls have beed recently painted with three that are a light grey and accent wall is dark purplish/blue. All the furniture and the room has a fresh coat of pain, carpets have been shampooed and room cleaned.
I have a whole house fan so it keeps the fresh air moving on cool nights but if it’s too hot I run the AC! Ready for your new and homey space?

We are certainly a unique household.

We are a warm, friendly and supportive family home so not a party house but just active and busy. Living with a family offers some security and sense of belonging.

I am a single gay dad with two active and busy kids, a 12 year old boy and 15 year old young lady. They have their own rooms and do not enter other peoples rooms. We have had several professional roommates over the years and we all respect room boundaries and limits.

Roomies normally stay 1-2 years because it a safe, friendly and easy to stay. I do a month to month rental agreement and don’t force a lease as life needs change and don’t want to force someone to stay if they have an opportunity.

I am the home owner and we rent out 2 rooms most of the time: The shared bathroom has a double sink at the vanity and separate shower and toilet.

This is an ideal place for a commuter or exchange student. I am not looking for someone that works full time from home or telecommutes as I work from home. It is not a place to bring hook ups and/or casual experiences out of respect for everyone.

Pet: We do have a young female pug quiet breed and short hair. Hazel is super sweet and lots of personality so not looking to introduce another pet in the house.

I normally have to TV going for back ground noice… a political news junkie MSNBC - If you love Rachel Maddow we are probably going to have a lot to talk about.
