About the room
Landlord occupied home looking for one more to complete our group of 4!
The house was built in 1911 and I’m the third owner. It’s huge, like 3500 sq ft with 6 rooms and 3.5 bathrooms. That said, I’ve found that limiting the group to 4 people achieves the best harmony. So, I turned the two extra rooms into a movie room and a dojo/gym. Laundry is on site, car parking on the street, bike parking in basement, Walk Score 91, Transit Score 54, Bike Score 93. House is on the Vancouver/Williams corridor, near the Mississippi neighborhood. One cat that is not willing to share the house with another animal. All diets welcome.
The room, currently available, is 13’4“ by 13’4“, plus a little alcove/closet space. South and East facing. The occupant of this room shares a full bathroom with one other person. Rent is $725 per month. Move-In is First, Last, plus $400 security deposit. Utilities are in the $80 to $120 per month range. We have a monthly cleaning/chores system - but daily cleanliness is extremely, very, super important to us.
About the roomies
Our group is three guys from 28 to 43. Education in chemistry, natural resources, engineering. Professions are engineering, carpentry, waste management. Interests include cycling, gaming, running, cooking, fitness. Group interests are TV/movie nights, Wine Club, tacos on the porch, and occasional outings.
No smoking, no other animals, no late night noise, no belligerence or regular overindulgence.
