For rent is the second bedroom of my two bedroom apartment. It is over 1,266 square feet and has a screened in porch. It is furnished minus the bedroom. It has carpet throughout except for the bathrooms, kitchen, and sunroom. I do have two sweet and friendly cats. There is a walk-in closet in your bedroom and you have your own bathroom that you can get to from within your room or from outside of it and doubles as the guest bathroom. The complex has a pool, gym and dog park and dog wash. The complex is located within an old golf course community and there is plenty of great walking. Rent includes all utilities except electric which would be split 50/50.
You would be living with me :-) I am a 33 year old female. I currently work from home full time as a staff accountant. I have meetings but they only tend to last an hour or so and beyond that I am quiet when I work. In the mornings before work, I journal, do a workout video from home and go for a walk. I also meal prep and eat all my meals at home. I tend to go to bed around 9 pm. And get up until around 6 am. I am also going to school for my MBA and work on my course work in the evenings after work and on weekends as needed. I am looking for someone who will be quiet and respectful. Ideally they will have a similar sleep schedule. I don’t have people over except for when my bf comes to visit. He lives in Colorado and flies down every couple of months or so, so not very often. The reason for this is I like keeping my home private. So also looking for a like minded roommate who keeps their social life mostly outside of the home and won’t be bringing people over (much). I am very low key, and currently focused on my future. To this, like I said, I am looking to live with someone who will be quiet and respectful since most days I am either working or studying and need a distraction-free environment.
I do have two very sweet cats. To this, I will not live with someone else with a cat, but dogs are ok. I have had two roommates in the past with cats and they both harassed my cats and they didn’t like it. It caused them unneeded stress. Since I have no way of knowing how your cat(s) would be towards mine, I have decided to say no cats unless it’s a special case- you know without a doubt your cat would leave mine alone- maybe the cat is older and keeps to themselves. But again, dogs are ok.
Looking to live with someone with a clean background and verifiable income that I can trust.
On my off days from work and schoolwork, I am usually out of the house, spending time in nature. I like to paddle board. I also love camping and spending time outside. I do also like to go out dancing. I am an outdoorsy girl. In the winter time, I tend to be more of a home body. I am looking for someone I can mesh well and get along with. Would love to become friends.
Must have a job and proof of income and ability to pay rent. Must pass Background check and be able to get put onto the lease. Rent is due on the 1st of every month and can be paid online directly to me via Zelle or through Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal. No cash and no money orders. That’s more work for me.
Just as an aside, I keep the apartment at 74 F during the day and 70 F when I go to sleep. If the roommate is a good fit, I am looking to room with someone until I finish my master’s degree and complete the CPA exam, so about 2- 3 years.
