The Apartment: -The apartment is the third-floor unit of a beautiful Victorian built in 1884. A largely period-correct restoration of the unit was completed a couple of years ago, and it’s truly incredible Features of the unit include: -Beautiful aesthetic accents include high ceilings, exposed structural beams, multiple chandeliers, hardwood floors, a shared balcony with views of Alameda and the Oakland hills, a sprawling open living room space, and much more -Spacious kitchen with fairly new appliances -In building laundry with new, energy-efficient washer and dryer -Access to an incredible garden maintained by the landlords, with outdoor seating areas both in front of and behind the house -Access to a storage space in the basement

We have a great relationship with our downstairs neighbors (1st and 2nd floor). The first floor is occupied by our landlords, a couple who can be thanked for the beautiful garden surrounding the house. The second floor is occupied by another couple who has lived here for ~4 years. They are all very sweet people.

I am a 26-year-old male who recently moved from Portland, Oregon for work. I love cycling, 3-D printing, surfing, snowboarding, and role-playing games. I enjoy being social and having guests over to the house periodically, but I am not loud or rowdy in any way. I work on-site at a clean energy start-up. I am typically home during the weekday evenings and venture off during the weekends to explore the SF Bay area.
