FOUR LARGE WINDOWS cover the room in an abundance of natural light throughout the day, keeping energy cost down and allowing you to have multiple spots to place plants! The room is secured via a unique code chosen by you for your door knob keypad, allowing you to have one less key to worry about during your stay here. All furnishings will be new as this is my first time renting the room in a furnished state.The last photo in the reel will show the projected set up for furnishings, open to suggestions so if you are interested and have any feel free to reach out!

About the house:

We’re blessed with lots of space (1000+ sq ft of shared space!) and ample off-street parking. The house has an open platform living room, 2 shared bathrooms (for 4 people), Office & dining space, a fully equipped kitchen, central heating and air conditioning, as well as a washer and dryer. The front porch has seating for 3 and the backyard yard comes with a fire pit, stainless steel grill and seating for 8 currently. The house comes with Verizon fiber optic internet with dual band wifi (1000 Mbps Speeds) to easily manage up to 5 adults on the network with various connected devices. As the landlord, I will be in Bdrm #5 (reference layout photo) so If you have any issues I’m only a stone’s throw away.

About the location:

The location really can’t be beat. The house is a .9 mile walk from the Takoma Park Metro Train/ bus bay giving you access to various Ride-on and Metro bus options. Fort Totten Metro station is also available via the F2(Metrobus) for direct access to the green and yellow line. We are only a few blocks from Downtown Takoma giving you easy access to multiple restaurants and bars post-pandemic. Within walking distance you have Lidl and Takoma Park Co-op Organic Market for Grocery options as well.

About the housemates:

You’ll be living with 3 other young professionals who are typically out of the house during work hours from 9 AM to 5 PM when the world isn’t shut down. We’re a social group who enjoys relaxing at home together, although we’re also mindful of each other’s space. Being communal is essential to making a shared living environment prosper so chipping in on house cleaning duties is a must.
