Unfurnished basement bedroom with attached half bath available June 1st in Shirlington townhouse! There is an attached screened-in porch (accessible via sliding glass doors), ample closet space, and it’s a short walk to our in-unit washer and dryer!

The house itself located near Walter Reed Dr & Glebe Rd and is a three-level townhome in a square of similar units. There is a great open kitchen with dishwasher, stainless steel fridge, microwave, and garbage disposal; a wooden deck out back, in-unit laundry, plenty of storage space, an attached parking lot with one space per unit, and plenty of street parking. The basement room is $840/month and utilities are not included (we pay electric, internet, and water [once quarterly]) but are usually very reasonable. The other two bedrooms are both on the second floor, as well as the full bathroom w/ tub and shower. Our landlord is very helpful but mostly hands-off!

I’m 28, a masters student at Marymount, and looking for roommates who are responsible, considerate of others’ space/noise, and willing to share the workload keeping common areas clean. I’m fairly introverted and like my own time/space, but I also like to go shopping, see movies, explore the area, etc!
