Indian Cove Road

Hi!

We are looking for a third housemate starting May 1st to rent a room (month-to-month) in our gorgeous, furnished home with 30-mile vistas of Indian Cove, less than one mile from Joshua Tree National Park and walking distance to a bus stop & local market. We have a huge backyard, kitchen, hammock, horse-shoes, high-end bbq grills, and a surprise fold-down Murphy bed for guests (see pictures!)

You would have a choice of 2 bedrooms: $800 for a shared bathroom (with moi) or $900 for the master with its own bathroom. Utilities are included in rent, unless the bill is over $200 for the month- in which case, the remainder is split between the 3 of us.

This really is a dream spot- it’s very hard to find deals like this in the desert.

A quick note about us: I’m a playwright (41, he/him) formerly based out of NYC. Betel (36, she/her) is a therapist from the Pacific Northwest. We are both laid-back and open-minded. Ideally looking for someone who is low-key, clean, communicative, and (since the room is already furnished) relatively minimalist. We do have garage space if you need to store things, however.

Sorry, no couples or inside smoking. Also, the landlord has requested there be no pets on the premises.
