Cozy home on an cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood with a large yard, plenty of room for storage, and relaxing outdoor spaces. The house is about 20 minutes from the heart of downtown Chattanooga, right up the road from a park, and a short drive to everything you’d need in Fort O.

Renter would have a room to themselves and share a full bath with me. I have a quarter bath in my room, so I would only really need the shared bath for showers. One downside of this property is how tiny the water heater is, so if you want long and hot showers, this is not the place for you.

There is a garage that is used as the laundry room and for storage. There is also a carport to the side of the house that is much to small for a car so it is used as a patio space.

If you enjoy the calm sounds of nature this yard is full of birds and free of city sounds. Last summer I created a nice outdoor space with a large fire pit next to the garage that is perfect for just enjoying the sound of the trees and a crackling fire. Unfortunately that yard does become incredibly muddy after rain and is ripe with mosquitoes once they come out for the season.

ABOUT ME I am a homebody who enjoys going on walks/hikes, hosting game nights, and just sitting by a fire. I have lived here for almost three years now and have made the space very homey; I take pride in this home even though I only rent it and even worked on the side yard last summer to serve as a relaxing outdoor space.

My hobbies include arts and crafts, reading, and nerdy things in general. I don’t drink though I’m not against drinking (the alcohol in the picture is was from pervious game nights and is gone now) and won’t bring home hooks up. Really, I’m just an adult having to restart her life. If you’re look for a cozy home with a responsible and relaxed roommate, I may be who you are looking for.

PET PEEVES My pet peeves are inconsiderate rambunctiousness (loud and late nights, “accidentally” damaging things, etc.), not cleaning up shared spaces (I’m not a neat freak but I don’t like clutter), and poor communication.

THE PETS My small pup is a good boy but will chew a blanket if left unsupervised. I’ve tried no chew spray and it doesn’t phase him. But he’s a big cuddle bug! My big pup is hesitant about new people at first but once you become one of “her people” she loves to play fetch and chill with you outside.

My big dog, being part golden, loves the muddle puddles, so while I keep the house tidy and organized there is almost always muddy paw prints on the floors and some mud splatter on the walls. She does know not to jump on beds when told to “stay down”.

OTHER I would like a roommate who is okay being alone with the pups. I have friends I would like to visit over weekends and family in CA I would visit for a week or two at a time.
