East Grand Avenue

The room is a perfect size for a queen size bed, desk, and tv with room to spare! It comes with its own private bathroom that’s not attached to the bedroom. The rent is $830 a month and the only utility you have to pay is electricity. Electricity usually ends up being anywhere from $50-$70 a month. I’m looking to sub-let my room for the remainder of my lease, which expires December 18th 2022. It’s a great location and it’s only a 15 minute walk to the Rahway Train Station and all that downtown Rahway has to offer! It’s a 45 minute train ride to the city (Penn station). There’s a large park nearby as well and plenty of delicious food spots and places for social outings as well all within a mile or two of the apartment. Route 1 is 2 minutes away and Menlo Park Mall is about 10-15 minutes away. The apartment comes with one free parking spot. I also may be leaving the mattress bed frame and desk that are in the photos in case you’d like to have those too! Also, the living room/common area of the apartment is already furnished with a couch, tv, coffee table, recliner, lights, and night stands. If you need to move in sooner than the listed date, let me know and we can figure something out!

A little bit about myself before I talk about my current roommate!

I’m a 25 yr old male who works as a full time engineer. I’m very active and am usually at the gym after work. I am very clean and always keep a tidy space. I don’t have any pets and am quiet and respectful during all times of the day. Anyway, I love to spend my free time snowboarding, playing soccer, skateboarding, hiking, camping, playing card and board games, and staying in binging my favorite shows.

Now for more about my roommate: My roommate is a 30 year old male who works as a PE teacher. He shares all the same qualities as I mentioned for myself above (cleanliness, respectful, mindful, courteous, quiet, and extremely active!). My roommate is an avid gym goer and during the week only spends a few hours at the apartment after the work/gym. He’s extremely charismatic, friendly, a foodie, and always down to hang.

The security deposit will need to be worked out with our landlord, so the price may be a little lower or higher than what I’ve listed for that. Our space is 420 friendly and welcoming of all walks of life. If you have a pet, that would be best to be discussed with my current roommate.
