Hello! I’m looking for a roommate to move into a 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom house near downtown San Jose for a 6 month lease with option to renew for longer.

Rent is $1450 per month for one bedroom. Ideal move-in is July 14 - August 1.

This home is in an amazing location. It is only 1 mile south of SJSU, near various bus lines, 3 miles from the San Jose Diridon Caltrain station (for easy commuting up the peninsula to SF) and near Little Saigon. It offers a safe, mellow neighborhood vibe while still being only a short trip over to all the nightlife that downtown San Jose has to offer.

About the house: -Approximately 780 sq ft. -Central air conditioning and heat. -Shared Jack & Jill bathroom with recently updated vanity.

• The available room is 10’x11’. It has west-facing French doors which open to the backyard, providing you with plenty of natural lighting & beautiful sunset views. Includes a small in-wall closet. The room will be unfurnished.
• In-unit Samsung Washer/Dryer installed 2 years ago.
• Fully furnished house besides your bedroom (more than happy to work together on any decor/furniture ideas).
• Cozy kitchen with a 4 burner stove, integrated microwave, fridge, countertop toaster oven, small integrated wine rack and plenty of pantry space for two, etc. -Spacious newly renovated backyard with a large beautiful lawn and patio space. The space is perfect for outdoor pilates, tanning, relaxing, and having get-togethers and is my favorite part about the house. -Off-street parking as well as a long driveway and detached garage with an automatic gate. -6 month lease with 1 month’s rent security deposit. -LGBTQ friendly! -Unfortunately pets are not allowed

About Me: I’m a South Bay native in my mid-20’s and work as a data analyst in academic research.

I’m a lifelong athlete who enjoys the outdoors and spends many weekends hiking and exploring the area. I’m fairly extroverted but am fairly independent and appreciate sometimes having the time to recharge solo by going to the gym, cooking or just vibing on the couch to music/TV.

We’ll get along if you like hikes, silly chats & deep convos, the gym, pingpong, dancing, DIY projects, weekend trips, the beach, or trying something new.
