My boyfriend and I are starting a lease on a three bedroom duplex on May 1st. We would like a roommate to make rent more affordable for us and provide an affordable option for someone in need of housing (we will take one bedroom for ourselves and another for our work from home office/guest room - The office will be the smallest of the 3 bedrooms) - it will be about $650/month including utilities. We are looking to get a puppy soon so you have to be okay with a dog in the house. Also, no couples, the place just isn’t big enough for four people. But if you have a significant other who wants to hang out and stay over sometimes, that’s totally cool!

About me: I’m 23 years old and I work in client services for a translation company from home. Very passionate about progressive initiatives and feminism. I love the outdoors, traveling, and enjoying TV/Movies. Keeping my space clean is very important to me. I’m a little more introverted, but I enjoy having deep conversations.

My boyfriend: He’s 25 and works in digital marketing, also from home. He’s very social and talkative and very easy to get along with. Outdoorsy and a big basketball fan, originally from Vermont.

Our ideal roommate:

• Is in their early or mid 20’s
• Does not have any pets. The place is pretty small to have more than one dog, and I’m allergic to cats, sorry!
• Will keep common spaces clean and openly communicate
• Is vaccinated and boosted
• Doesn’t smoke inside (we have no problem with this, but it’s not allowed on the property)
• Can commit to a one year lease
