About the room
I’m looking for a roommate to share this 1000sqft 2-bed/2-bath apartment with me. MOVE-IN DATE OF MAY 26. You’ll need to sign on to the lease which ends in March 2023.
Smaller room with its own bathroom across the hall is $1420/mo + utils. Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet is $1900/mo + utils. You pick which you prefer and I will take the other.
The unit is on the 1st floor at Mira Bella, and has central heat/AC as well as full-size washer and dryer. Parking in the secured underground lot is included but internet ($35.15/mo) and utilities (approx. $75/mo) are not. The room also has a sliding glass door to access the patio. Unit is ground-floor, which is perfect if you have a dog. (There’s pet rent, or if your dog/cat is an ESA they have a form for you to fill out. I have a 5-year-old golden retriever who loves all people, dogs, and cats.) There is also a huge patio that we can decorate together since I haven’t gotten around to it!

About the roomies
I’m Ashley. I work at area hospitals in the operating room. I have 5-year-old ESA golden retriever. She gets excited when she meets new people, but otherwise is a very chill dog and sleeps most of the day. She loves all other dogs and is fascinated by cats, but in the event that the cat is not a fan of her she quickly learns her place (i.e. avoids the cat). We welcome your dog if they are well-behaved and don’t bark a lot, or your cat if they either like dogs or are indifferent to them. Mira Bella will accept ESA paperwork (they have their own form) or you can pay pet rent.
My ex is moving out on the 24th or 25th of May, so the room will be available immediately after that.
Want more details? Here’s a little more about me and my habits: I have a variable schedule but typically go to bed early and get up early. I’m respectful of quiet times (i.e. when I know others are sleeping) and hope to find someone who is the same way.
I’m also respectful of shared spaces. I admit that I can be messy/cluttered but I always keep it to my room and clean up my kitchen/shared area messes immediately.
My communication style is direct (but kind). I don’t get along well with people who have passive or very indirect communication because I find that I don’t catch on to when they’re upset. I would much rather you come right out and say what you want to say, in a kind way of course.
Although I’m a definite introvert, I’m fine with the occasional party, especially if it doesn’t interfere with my sleep. But seriously, the stay-at-home order was a cakewalk for me.
Hobbies: Computer/console/board games, Netflix, true crime podcasts, sewing. When I go out I like breweries/brewpubs, trivia nights, movie theaters, or live comedy. Really not a dancing/nightclub kind of person, and I like my drama in podcast form only.
