The two of us are looking for a new third housemate in our 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom house in South Park, very near the 509 and 99 on/off ramps. South Park is an awesome little community with a strong agricultural and minority history, that said the box condos have arrived in a few spots. It is worth noting that there are no walkable grocery stores (aside from a little corner store ) in the neighborhood.

I would not call this house at all wheelchair accessible. Currently there is one cat and while we are not strictly scent free, there are no consistent fragrances used here aside from cleaning products and laundry.

The room we have available is the smaller of the three, approximately a 12’x10’ space with an eastern facing window and a shared bathroom with 1 other person. This new person would also have additional storage space in a hall closet on the same floor. The house was built in 2007 I believe with 2 floors (all bedrooms on the upper floor) with a washer and dryer, gas range, central heating, no AC but decent air circulating, one shared “living room” and single car garage.

There is only 1 official parking spot behind the garage and the rest is neighborhood style street parking, but it isn’t an intense battle for space here.

We are very close to a bus stop (easy walking distance to the 60 and 132 routes).

Costs: *The room would be $825 and an average of about $125/month utilities (internet included) Move in cost:

-Security deposit will be between $500 and $600

-First months rent (prorated as necessary)

-Last month’s rent.

The house vibe is more of an introverted one where we keep a respectful consideration of each other, but live our own lives. We are working people, with varying schedules looking for a calm and welcoming home to return to each day. We clean up our own messes and respect each other’s privacy, personal space and belongings. So we are looking for a third working adult who is like minded and considerate. What can we say, sharing a house also helps keep this city affordable right? No smoking inside but 420 friendly, queer friendly, POC friendly, and no hate welcome here. Additional pets are negotiable with additional $500 deposit. Just a heads up though, there is no fenced yard.

Now for a brief individual intro and hello!

Sea, he/him or they/them (white, 31 yo, fully vaxxed) - works nights (usually sleeps between 1pm and 9pm). Plays soccer and video games. Also spends 95% of their time in their room. The other 5% taking over the kitchen, attempting to cook/bake. Hard of hearing so don’t hesitate to let them know when the TV is too loud!

Cat - she/they non-binary (white, 23 yo, fully vaxxed) - Mostly works from home but loves going out on the weekends to explore the city and surrounding areas. When not working or going on long excursions, they like to tinker with electronics, either doing repairs to old tech or whatever else they can get their hands on. Mostly keeps to themself but if you see them around the house don’t be afraid to say hi 😁
