Please read carefully: We are looking to fill an upcoming vacancy in our downtown San Jose home. I am moving to another state, and therefore am vacating my awesome, comfortable room. This room is for one person only.

Earliest move in date: March 20, 2022 However, you can also move in April 1st.

The room is a private, medium sized (167 sq. ft.), unfurnished room on the second floor of the house. It has a built-in walk in closet with a lot of storage space.

The room currently has a queen-sized bed, table, office chair, and 60 inch TV that may be purchased separately.

We’re located in a great location close to Downtown San Jose and the house is very modern and has great amenities.

Our house includes:

• 5 other rooms with people (males and females) that are responsible and have jobs
• Fully equipped modern kitchen, including dishwasher
• Clothing Washer and Dryer
• 2 car garage + permits for street parking
• 2 shared bathrooms (and 1 private master bath)
• Outside Patio
• Nice, clean, friendly neighborhood.
• Walking distance to SJSU (about 10 minute walk)

What you will get:

• Private bedroom and a bathroom shared with one more person
• Freshly cleaned wall-to-wall carpeting inside your room.
• Kitchen/washer/dryer/community area
• Rotating garage spot for your car (if needed)
• Street parking with shared parking permit. In short, parking is never an issue.
• Quick access to highway (280, 87 and 101)

Requirements:

• Steady income (Must show past 3 months income statements)

• Single occupant only

• No smoking

• No pets

• No excessive overnight guests

• MUST BE CLEAN AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF IMMEDIATELY

• NO LOUD EXCESSIVE NOISE BETWEEN 11PM-7AM M-F (Weekends are more lax)

• MUST BE RESPECTABLE, RESPONSIBLE, PAY RENT AND UTILITIES ON TIME, CLEAN UP AFTER SELF AND NO DISRUPTIVE, UNBEARABLE NOISE OR BEHAVIOR.

Rent details: Move in date: End of March or beginning of April 2022 Rent is $693 per month + utilities. Utilities average $60-80 per month and include electric, high speed internet, water, garbage, recycling, etc.

Move in requirement: 1st month’s rent ($693) + rental deposit ($873) = $1,566 The rental deposit includes one month’s rent, carpet cleaning when you move out, your first month of utilities, and any background check fees. If you leave everything nice and neat when you leave, you get most of it back.

About the existing tenants: Housemates are all friendly and tolerant of diverse people. We get along very well and we are looking for someone similar who is easygoing and considerate of others. Sometimes some of us hang around or share conversations, but it’s also perfectly fine if you’d like to keep to yourself.
