Greetings! Thanks for taking the time to check out my post. My name is Cody. I am a 37 y.o. Chef who has recently resumed going back to school to start a career change. I’m currently in a situation where I have an unfurnished guest bedroom within my condo I am looking to rent out.

The kitchen area, dining area, and living room would all be common areas that are pre-furnished. The guest bathroom would be dedicated to whomever is renting and can be furnished upon request. The property has great amenities such as an indoor swimming pool, hot-tub, and sauna as well as biking and hiking trails; close proximity to 169, 394, 55, and 494 and is located on a high-frequency bus route, controlled entry, and 24 hour maintenance or lockout assistance. I currently use the garage but this can be negotiated. I’m pretty well open to working with whomever is a mutually agreeable fit.

As for myself, I’m pretty busy and not home very often. When I am, I tend to just stick to the master bedroom unit, so the common areas will be pretty much up for grabs ( I have gaming console, tv…also the internet and ALL OTHER UTILITIES are included in the monthly rent).

I am very open towards whomever would like to share my living space, regarding sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, cultural background, etc. My only requirements are that basic maturity, housekeeping skills, agreeableness, and the ability to make monthly payments on time.

That being said, I will obviously be trying to find someone whose situation is still somewhat congenial towards my own personality and situation, etc. And will be placing an emphasis on selecting other students or similarly aged professionals, at least for the time being as this is my first experience renting out a location.

Also, the neighbors at this location tend to be a little older. This is great for many reasons, but if you are very young and looking for a place to throw ragers, etc. This would NOT be a very suitable place for that.

All applicants considered will be screened through a background check. A refundable security deposit as well as first and last months rent will be required for final move-in and a leasing contract will have to be signed.

I don’t really have a great abundance of free time lately, but I enjoy listening to music and playing guitar. I enjoy reading, writing, and cooking in my spare time. I’m kind of a nerd and always like to keep busy with some sort of project or trying to learn some new thing. Whether it’s simple as watching a documentary or more engaging like trying to brush up on my Spanish or trying to learn how to do computer programming. I really have a variety of interests. The only problem is trying to find the time to accommodate them all. Other than that I enjoy meeting new people and doing new things, but also very much enjoy my alone time. Can’t think of anything else to add about myself really. Any questions please feel free to ask, I’m pretty much an open book.
