Uma's room

I am renting the master suite on the first floor of my two-story house, as well as an additional adjacent room that can be used as an office or TV room. The house is spacious and quiet in beautiful Sonoma, just minutes away from popular dining and shopping. The bedroom has its own bathroom with bathtub and shower, as well as an attached sun-room. The suite is ideal for someone who would like a roommate but would still like a sense of privacy.

I am a 65-year-old recently widowed woman and my ideal roommate is a similarly aged woman (55-75) – either widowed or living alone – preferably semi-retired and vegetarian. No smokers and no pets will be considered. Proof of financial stability and vaccination + booster is a must.

I grew up in Bangalore, India but have lived in the United States since the 1970s and in California for the last 30 years. I am a medical professional and work from time to time – most recently at vaccination clinics – but I am primarily retired and split my time between my home in Sonoma and my children’s homes in the Bay Area and Southern California.
