Enjoy a cozy bedroom in a historic craftsman style house in a prime location.

This is a great deal because I travel for work so much that you’ll basically be living in an entire house yourself for a small fraction of what it would normally cost to do so in California.

This large bedroom gets lots of natural light with two windows, has a spacious closet along with another door that has direct access to the shared bathroom. (This is why the photos show the room with two doors plus the closet - one of the doors goes directly to the bathroom.)

There’s plenty of space for a bed, desk, mini fridge, storage etc. It’s a peaceful spot to call home in a calm and respectful environment.

Your rental also comes with complete access and use of the shared amenities of the house including full kitchen, living room, den, full bathroom, backyard, and laundry.

There’s a large, open backyard for unwinding with a grill and fire pit plus an outdoor shower for rinsing off after playing at the beach.

There’s a detached cottage in the backyard where one housemate lives and shares the common areas in the house.

You’ll also share the property with my dog. He is friendly, gentle, cute and overall pretty lazy, but you must be comfortable with large dogs.

Included utilities are internet, trash, water & power.

The location of this property is amazing. It’s convenient to everything that makes living in Ventura great!

Located on a quiet and safe street, enjoy being close to everything in historic midtown Ventura. Easily walk to great restaurants, coffee shops, markets, shopping, bars and nightlife, gorgeous parks, etc. Only 5 minutes to the beach, downtown Ventura and it’s easy to get to the 101. Walkscore is 76.

Parking is street parking. It’s always easy to find parking.

Room comes unfurnished and is available April 1st.

This rental is for one person and no pets please.

All prospects will be asked to complete a credit check and possibly background check.

3 month lease to start from April 1st until June 30th. We can check in and see what makes sense after that moving forwards.

Security deposit is $1350.

Rent is $1350/month with all utilities included.

I’m an entrepreneur and I travel a lot or work so you’ll often have the entire house to yourself.

I’m hard-working and open-minded combined with a relaxed, laid back attitude. I appreciate the outdoors, festivals, craft beer and delicious food.

The house is pretty mellow and quiet most of the time. Once in awhile I will have friends over to grill and enjoy a fun evening in the backyard on the weekend, but would let you know in advance if this was planned.

It’s a priority for me to keep the lines of communication open and would expect you to do the same.
