Abbigail's room

Hello, this is a private bedroom with great natural light and a shared bathroom and living space. It is a pretty standard sized room and has a closet. The place has a garage for storage and I am also slowly turning it into a gym. There is one parking space in the driveway and there is street parking. I have a good system for sharing the parking space. It’s a sweet little neighborhood with kids frequently playing outside located in NE Portland. The bedroom could be furnished or unfurnished as I have a spare futon that could go in there if you need a bed. Oh there is also a washer and dryer in the garage.

It’s is currently my plant/guest room, but I am looking to fill is so I can afford living a little bit easier. I don’t currently have photos of it empty since I’m using it as a plant/guest room at the moment. But it’s pretty standard sized and it has carpet and I will show you before you have to commit or anything.

I am a 24 year old woman who studied social science in college so it’s important to me that I live with someone who has like minded world views as me (pro lgbt+, blm, healthcare rights, social justice, etc.). I have two cats (and a bearded dragon) that live here and am asking that the new roommate doesn’t have any pets (except like fish or something small). I would possibly be willing to make an exception for one cat if the person was the right fit. One of my kitties doesn’t really like other animals.

I frequently have visitors and love to host. I am very social and enjoy spending time with friends and hopefully my new roommate. I have a ton of plants and am pretty clean and tidy.

Also expecting that you are fully vaxxed.

I’m willing to wait to have someone move in until I know I’ve found the right fit.

I would like to be decent friends with you so we don’t feel like strangers.

The place is already fully furnished (of course except the bedroom) so I would prefer you didn’t bring any large furniture items (unless they are nicer than mine then I would sell mine).
