About the room
The room: First and second pictures show the room that is up for rent (furniture in these pictures will be removed). The dimensions are roughly 11.5x10.25 ft. The room includes a large closet, that extends the entire length of the room (11.5 ft long, see the second picture) which includes some built-in shelving for organization. There is also a large 4x5 ft sliding window.
The apartment:
- 2 bed, 1 bath in the Powderhorn Condos (Gunbarrel, northeast Boulder)
- Mostly furnished with the exception of the bedroom that is up for rent
- Shared space (living/dining room and kitchen) is an open floor plan (see pictures 3-9)
- Kitchen includes microwave, dishwasher, oven
- Nice new washer and dryer in unit
- Free parking (parking spaces not assigned in the condo complex)
- 1 car garage attached to unit. Garage is used for our storage as parking is free and readily available in the complex. Could also be a great space for a workshop of some sort
- Great relationship with our landlord who lives a few miles down the road
- Rent is $850/mo. plus utilities. You will be required to sign a 1 year lease with the option to switch to month to month after the first year
Powderhorn Complex/ Surrounding area: Pool (summer only), hot tub (year round) and tennis court (year round)
- Lots of greenspace
- Nice park across the street and nearby trails for walking, running and biking
- Avery Brewery is within walking distance and less than 2 miles to the grocery store
About the roomies
About me: My name is Blair, I am a 32 year old male, and a graduate student at CU Boulder. I am typically busy with work (a mix of at home and school) and enjoy a relatively quiet and relaxed place to come home to. I am laid back, relaxed and easy to get along with. I like to keep the apartment respectably clean but am not a big stickler on it being perfect. During my free time I like hang out with friends and stay active and outside (hiking, climbing, skiing/snowboarding).
About you: I am looking for a graduate student or full time professional in their mid 20’s to mid 30’s. Someone that is relaxed and responsible and willing to share general duties to keep the apartment respectably clean and comfortable. Male or female is fine but no couples (sorry but the place is not large enough to fully support more than 2 people). If you have a partner, they are certainly allowed to stay over as long as it is not all of the time. Having a few friends over from time to time is fine but this is not a party house. Pets are allowed as long as they are well behaved and cared for.
