About the room
Hello! I am looking fora roommate to in my 2 bedroom pre-war apartment in Hell’s Kitchen, starting May 1st.
The room will be unfurnished by May 1st, but the rest of the apartment is fully furnished.
The room is open and spacious (150+ sq ft), and the apartment is comfortable (600 sq ft). The room gets great light, and has large closet space.
The apartment has a full bathroom, and a generous kitchen/living space. It has access to a beautiful community courtyard/art space, good for gatherings and parties.
Location is great! right next to Columbus Circle (A,C,B,D,1) , the N/Q/R/W, central park, Lincoln Center, Times Square, and many great shops and restaurants on the west side!
About myself, I’m David, 29, PhD student at Columbia, so I work a lot. I like to go out and spend time with friends on the weekends, so I don’t have people over all the time. The apartment is pretty quiet usually. I keep the space fairly neat, and I’d ask that you do, too.
Will ask for last month’s rent and a security deposit up front at the time of signing (the contract can be negotiable, but anything we agree to sign is mostly for your protection/peace of mind).
