Capistrano Drive

Hi! My roommate is moving in with her boyfriend, so I have a room for rent in a two bedroom/1 bath house in the Capistrano neighborhood near Oceanside Harbor.

The room costs $875 plus utilities (usually $150 per person - internet, water, SDGE). The room is 10ft by 13ft. There’s a laundry room with a washer and dryer attached to the garage, and a huge yard with an ocean view. The room is unfurnished, but the common areas are pretty much furnished (the coffee table, tv stand, and wall decorations belong to my roommate).

You’ll need to pass a background check and credit check for the landlord AND provide a copy of your two most recent pay stubs showing you earn at least $1800/month (the total monthly rent of the house).

About me: I’m 27, female. I’m a teacher and I’m in a master’s program. I get up super early for work, so you’ll probably have the bathroom and kitchen to yourself in the mornings. I’m generally pretty quiet/mellow in the evenings (cooking, doing homework, watching TV/movies, reading a book, etc). When I have some free time I go to the beach, attempt to surf with my boyfriend, rock climb, do yoga, camp, travel, etc.

I’m looking for a female roommate who works full time or who works and goes to school. I drink moderately - a couple drinks with dinner or on the weekends, but definitely leave the party at the bar, and I’m looking for the same in a roommate. Absolutely no drugs. I like to keep the house pretty tidy, so I need a roommate who will share cleaning responsibilities with me (nothing crazy - just normal, routine stuff - bathroom, stovetop, sweep/mop, dishes etc). No kids or couples.
