Frances's room

The room will be available after June 2nd. I am renting one room to a female for $1,500. Move in date is somewhat flexible. There are two very nice bedrooms downstairs, and one is rented out. This room is 12x12 in size, with hardwood floors. This room is in the front of the house with a window that gets the afternoon sun. The room was recently painted and is furnished with a full size bed, dresser, desk and chair, television (optional) and built-in closet. The roomies will have the downstairs bathroom to themselves. The 2nd bedroom has a female that is only in town 3-4 days a week. The house is a two story four-bedroom home with two full baths. I am the owner and I occupy one room. I try to provide a home like vibe for everyone. There is a front lawn and welcoming porch in front to sit at and enjoy the neighborhood, as well is a small backyard with a canopy to sit under and relax. Renter must be a non-smoker insider or outside. I have no pets and will not be able to accommodate any at this time due to allergies. My home has a washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, pantry and fridge with room for your food. Livingroom with cable tv in each room for you to use if you wish. There is Wi-fi throughout as well and is included in the monthly rent. There is limited storage in the rooms and hall closet only. The house is located two blocks off Grand Ave near the old City Hall. There are lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance. There is plenty of street parking during the day, but it can be a bit crowded after dinner. There are great renovations going on throughout the neighborhood which include some new condos and apartments with some retail. There is a new Cal-Train station and walkway being built on the corner of Grand that should be finished soon. There are busses and shuttles that take you anywhere you need to get to including BART. There is easy access to 101 and 280 freeways going North and South.

I am the only other person living in the home. I work M-F so I’m home in the evenings. I have 3 grown children who live nearby. I speak some Spanish, and I’m trying to learn more. I paint when I can and keep busy with other interests and hobbies. I like a clean home and hope others try to keep things tidy and help to keep the house clean by treating it like their own. It is nice to be kind and ready to pitch in with upkeep like sweeping and vacuuming your areas, and common areas when needed. I am open to someone who wants to plant and I never say no to help with the yardwork. I have a big family and circle of friends so I have company over occasionally, but everyone is very pleasant.
