About the room

[UPDATE – I am presently working on some small updates to the house – painting some rooms and adding some features outdoors and a few minor upgrades like UV air cleaners for the HVAC. I do want to get these things completed before a roommate moves in, just for the sake of convenience for the roommate, so am holding off on searching for a time, I hope – contracting scheduling is sure slow right now!]

Renovated, large old three bedroom, two bathroom house with hardwood floors, fireplaces, and large oak trees. It’s located in the Cherrydale area of Greenville 10 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from Paris Mountain State Park, and three miles from Furman University.

Housemate has own bedroom [with fireplace], own bathroom, large walk-in closet, and access to other furnished parts of the house, plus full kitchen privileges with separate refrigerator for use, as well as pantry. The bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet are unfurnished.

The house also has laundry room, dishwasher, microwave, and extra refrigerator [so a roommate has her own refrigerator] too. Off street parking. Internet is not provided.

Total cost per month for the roommate includes the utilities already [electricity, water, gas] and is $675/month – so no extra bills other than the monthly rent. A $675 deposit is required.

This is a non-smoking environment.

About the roomies

A little about me … I’m quiet, enjoy reading and writing and music, and a lot of outdoor activities, including hiking, running, and camping. The household includes one well-trained dog (albeit young!) and a quiet cat who is outdoors/indoors. It’s a very quiet place, and good for students and hard-working professionals who need a sanctuary to study, read, and think.

The household cannot manage other pets like dogs or cats, unless something like birds, hamsters, or other caged animals.
