The apartment is in a modern building and gets a lot of sunlight during the day. The room has a whole window wall and a large double door closet, hence plenty of storage. The rent is inclusive of utilities ( electricity/ gas and wi-fi)

The other amenities in the house are :

• a heater / cooler with an independent regulator per room.
• an in -unit washer/dryer
• a dishwasher

Some of the other shared amenities in the apartment are:

• Bike storage.
• Secure package room.
• Lounge with wi-fi access and a pool table .
• Accessible terrace with skyline views.
• Elevator access ( this is a second floor house so if you prefer to walk that’s great too)

The lease of the apartment is up on the 21st of January 2022 so it would not be possible to extend the lease. Also my roommate and I might be packing over the weekends and some of the living room furniture belongs to her and depending on when she might plan to move out you may not have access to the TV or some of the furniture in the living room towards the end of the lease. The room however can be furnished with a twin bed and desk or you can bring in your own furniture for the duration. It comes with a large closet for storage. And I could leave a powerful desk lamp, or you could furnish it with a floor lamp.

The neighborhood is close to metropolitan avenue which is dotted with restaurants and bars if you enjoy a meal or drink outside and it’s only three stops into Manhattan which takes about 10-15 minutes by train. (G/J/M)

You would need a deposit of 500$ and the rent ( includes utilities) due before moving in. We ask that you leave the place clean and tidy when you move out.

We can make a sublease document for the short period which we can sign.

She is a creative professional who works from the office and is out of the house from 9- 5 on the weekdays and is home on weekends. She keeps to herself and is very clean. Her fiancé might be visiting her towards the end of the lease to help pack.

We ask that you are clean, respectful and communicative. We have shared chores and are very good at keeping the common spaces clean on a daily basis. The house is a no shoe home so it will be nice if you have separate home slippers to walk around inside. The apartment has a no-smoking policy.

We are unable to accommodate pets .
