Melatiah Bingham who discovered the site when camping here on the Shetucket Riverbank during his service under Rochambeau in the Revolutionary War. The property is located just outside of Willimantic, CT in Windham Center. I have owned the home for 20 years and lovingly restored it myself. An avid gardener, I also added and updated many garden and grounds features to add to the tranquility of the property. The home was permitted as a BnB in 2019, but as a result of Covid, we switched things up and are offering reasonable monthly leases . ALL UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED and all public areas are accessible for each tenants use.
The bedroom is fully furnished and has a private bath as well as mini-fridge. It has a small closet but plenty of dresser storage, a new queen four-post bed, and wonderful afternoon sun overlooking the Shetucket River. This room is also accessed by a private stair. The property is near town but private, with off-street parking and quiet, respectful, friendly housemates.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a luxury offering in my own home, made exclusively to single, quiet adults enrolled in school or working full-time. Also, because we include utilities and for fear of overcrowding, we cannot take couples.

Semi-retired as a restoration contractor and architect, I work at home in my detached studio, also maintaining the property on a full time basis. The other housemates are currently all working professionals; ambitious and easy to get along with.
