I have a room opening up in a lovely townhome in Boulder Creek on August 1st 2025. This room is sunny and light filled with a walk-in closet. Some former tenants have put a little desk and chair in the closet and used it as a study space as well as a place to store clothing.
This townhome is in a lovely sunny resort like setting. It is a quick 25 minute drive to UCSC if you go up Jamison Creek and down Empire grade. Honestly, the drive from UCSC to Capitola is worse! This is a lovely traffic free experience! The bathroom is shared with just one other person.
There’s an expansive deck with a full panoramic view of the mountain range lovely kitchen hardwood floors wood-burning stove, AC, the works!
Current housemates include myself: a social worker who works in the community with youth and teachers hot yoga on the side. The other tenant, who would be sharing the bathroom with yourself, is a young woman in her early 30s who works in digital marketing. She is gone a lot during the week.
We value sleep, waking up to good coffee and watching the coyotes play in the field, and no nonsense communication! We don’t hold house meetings, we don’t have multiple sexual partners over, and we’re not huge drinkers. We do; however, enjoy a nice glass of Pinot noir occasionally.
I am asking $1000/month for this room. Tenant/s would be responsible for splitting PG&E and water- I will pay for the garbage. Utilities are typically about $75 each in the summer and a bit more in the winter.
I own a home in town as well and I am there often with my wife and my wife is up here every other weekend for a night or two as well. Bonus points for anyone willing to handle feeding and potty care of our very chill and friendly Malamute here and there so I can be in town more often! There is lots of space in this home and it is not over crowded! We are not looking to pack the house full of tenants and we value easy communication with a nice flow. Friendly open vibe, welcoming, and very non-intrusive.
I am looking for people that are relaxed, drama free, and know how to get along with others. Absolutely no hard drugs- light 420 use is acceptable. This townhome is in pristine condition and I’m definitely looking for people that know how to maintain a home. This is definitely not a party spot so if you’re planning on throwing parties with lots of loud yelling and drinking this is not the spot for you.
