Gwen's room

I have a 4200+ sq ft home in San Marcos with rooms to rent. I have 1 room to rent which is available now. It is fully furnished and is the second largest space for rent in the home and it is located on the first floor. It measures 22 feet by 14 feet, 308 sq. ft. I am within a 3-minute walking distance of Palomar College and 5 5-minute drive time from CSU, San Marcos. There are already 1 dog and several cats in the home, so no other cats or dogs are allowed. There are no exceptions, so don’t ask. There are two full bathrooms, which are shared. One is located upstairs and the other one is located downstairs. Your room comes equipped with its own mini-fridge, ceiling fan, built-in storage, dresser, nightstand, lamp, and a queen-sized bed with a pillow-top mattress and underneath storage. This room has sealed ceramic tile flooring and is easy to clean and maintain. The monthly rent includes all utilities, indoor laundry, Amazon Prime Video, and housecleaning of the common areas. WiFi (Internet) with Cox Ultra-High Speed is also included. Guests are welcome to visit, but in consideration of the other tenants, will have to vacate the premises by 10 pm weeknights and by 12 pm weekends. No overnights or sleepovers are allowed. There are plenty of hotels/motels in the surrounding area if needed or necessary to accommodate your overnight or long-term guests.

There is plenty of on-street parking for you and your guests. There are no drugs, partying, vaping, or smoking (medicinal or otherwise) allowed in or around the home, but if your cravings really kick in, you are within walking distance of the community park, where you can puff until your heart’s content. Alcoholic beverages are allowed in your private space, such as your bedroom, but in consideration of others, they are not allowed in the common areas or consumed in public view.

While I am no Martha Stewart or OCD about cleanliness, I don’t want to live with slobs, tolerate strange body odors, or co-exist with someone who doesn’t pick up after themselves or is inconsiderate of others or their private space. If this is an issue for you or could remotely become one, please don’t bother applying since we are adults here, and our lives are busy enough without having to be your monitor or babysitter. Lastly, we live in a drama-free environment. If there is drama going on in your life or you thrive on drama, look elsewhere.
