This is the second level of my home. Spacious and fully furnished. The room is only for one person. No overnight visitors. Onsite Laundry is available on ground level, parking is on street; you don’t have to pay and there’s always plenty of space. There are no street cleaning rules. The only time the city makes you move your car is in a snow storm but you can park for free in the middle school parking lot down the street. This doesn’t happen very often because my street is not a main road. If you don’t drive you will be close to public transportation to downtown Newark and mid-town NYC. All other utilities included in the rent including high speed internet.
I am looking for someone clean, respectful, responsible, professional or student (if student NO PARTIES or overnight stays!!). I am a very clean person and need someone who shares the same values. You will share the bathroom. I have a puppy very playful and won’t bite and my son is very active as well. I’m definitely not looking for someone who has their own pet (SORRY), I think one is as much as I can handle. I prefer a person who likes eat out a lot and does not need to use the kitchen. This neighborhood is family friendly where kids play on the streets and outside the house, have sleep overs, walk to Holstein’s/Rita’s for ice cream and play video games, nerf, swim in the pool, etc. If you can’t deal with the drama of teen-aged kids, this place is not for you. I am very upfront about expectations so you know what you’re walking into. They are not bad kids they just like to play.
NOTE: Your security deposit is your last month’s rent. If you decide to move, give me 30 days notice and live out your last month.
