The Apartment/Room:

• Bedroom with closet, comes furnished with bed (about 9 X 7’ room size)
• 10 minute walk to Davis/13 min to Porter and a stone’s throw from Mass Ave
• Full size living room and kitchen PLUS a massive pantry and private back deck
• Hardwood floors throughout
• Coin-op laundry in the basement
• Permit street parking, not usually hard to find a spot with a Cambridge parking permit (runs $25 a year)
• 1 bathroom shared among all of us, clawfoot tub and decent size
• Window AC unit available to purchase that previous roommate is leaving behind

Costs:

• Utilities run about $100 per month, can be on the higher end in winter with more heating
• Upfront cost would be first, last, and broker fee which amounts to $3200

We’re looking for a female roommate, who is kind and considerate, keeps things clean in common spaces, and is a direct communicator. We don’t have to be best friends but we would like to be able to have dinners together or hang out together every now and then, and be on friendly terms with one another.

Two female young professionals, we like to hang with each other but also know to respect personal time as well. We’re a social house pending the future of COVID, no major parties but having friends over for dinner parties, board games, and just hanging out is something we plan to do. We’re both pretty flexible and chill, we just like to maintain upfront communication.

• E (22F) is a recent grad from Duke University, starting work up here full time and looking forward to exploring a new city. She loves playing tennis, listening to music, and going to museums. Her guilty pleasure is watching the bachelorette with friends over a glass of wine.
• N (23F) has lived in Boston for about a year now and loves everything about the city. In her free time she likes to try out new baking recipes (recently strong success with cheesecake and egg tarts), go to museums, concerts, new restaurants, or generally explore the city.
