👋 Hi there – My housemate Erik and I are looking for 1 person to join our 3bd / 2ba spot in South Boulder on August 1. We’ve been living here for a year, and our current housemate is moving out at the end of the month.

You would get your own downstairs bedroom, office, and bathroom. The bedroom and office both have good light with large, recessed windows, and large closets. You also would have the floor to yourself. Erik and I have the two bedrooms upstairs, and share the upstairs bathroom and office. Rent is $1150 + utilities. No pets allowed (sadly 😞).

First, a little bit more about the house. We love it. Highlights include:

• Great outdoor space – large secluded yard with mountain views, beautiful trees, and a charming family of bunnies. Plus an outdoor ping pong table, covered patio area with sofas & grills, and a small shed 🏓🐇
• Great interior / shared spaces – comfortable kitchen & dining areas, upstairs hard-wood yoga / fitness area, downstairs entertainment area w/ 70“ tv & comfy sofa, and a utility room with ample storage, a second full-size fridge, and a new washer, dryer, and heater 🏡
• Excellent location – Less than a 10 min drive from Chautaqua, NCAR, 28th Street, CU, or Pearl, plus direct bike path access to each too. Also 30 minutes from Denver or Red Rocks (w/o traffic)

Second, a little bit about us and what we’re looking for:

• Erik and I met as high school debaters in our home state of Minnesota. We’re currently working from home building an edtech startup, and maintaining meditation, exercise, and journaling habits. We love to hike, go to live music, and chase powder.
• We follow a very consistent week schedule. During the day we will be working on our startup and ourselves. Our typical hangouts are weekdays around 630-930pm, and Saturdays around 4-10pm. Ideally you will have a compatible schedule, perhaps with your own startup or as a young professional or grad student 🤓
• On weekday evenings we alternate between outdoor hiking / ping pong and indoor board games / video games / tv, and on Saturday evenings we plan to host a recurring, invite-whoever, game / grill / movie get-together 🥾
• Other than those regular events, we go to shows about once a month. Our upcoming concerts include: Sylvan Esso, Griz, CloZee, Porter Robinson… and we eagerly await a show announcement from Flume🕺👀
• We also take the day off every time there is more than 8“ of snow and race to get first chair, usually at Vail ⛷🏂
