East 11th Street

$1000 / 1br - 120ft - 12/15 to 1/8 - 1 room in 3 BHK (East Village)

I’m going back home for the holidays and I’m looking to sublet my room in a 3 BHK and 1 bath apartment from 12/15 to 1/8. The apartment is just above the ground level and has direct access from the street.

The apartment is located on 11st between Ave B and C and is a 5-10 min walk from the L train ( which connects to 123, 456, NQR, BDF, ACE) on 14th st and 1st Ave. For those not familiar with East Village, you will be in the heart of great bars, speakeasies and restaurants. You will also be at a walking distance from lower east side and union square

The Room is fully furnished with a full size bed, brand new bed frame, a large closet and the price includes electricity, wifi and utilities and heating (heating control thermostat located in the room). The room doesn’t not have any windows but has two ventilation outlets to the living area for cross ventilation and sunlight during the day. Before I moved here, I had second thoughts about having no windows but honestly with the ventilation I don’t feel the lack of having no windows.

The apartment includes a large size living area with a couch and indoor plants. I also have my 50 inch TV, PlayStation 4 and Apple TV in the living area which I will be happy to provide you access to during your stay here. There is a fully functional kitchen with a large fridge, storage cabinets, microwave, toaster and juicer, utensils and all essential cookware. You will be sharing the 1 bathroom (great sized) with 2 other roommates. There is also a washer in the unit ( dryer non functional but there are plenty of cheap laundromats which also offer free laundry pick up and drop off at walking distance.

Roommates - 2 males who are absolutely awesome and friendly. 1st Roommate is a 29 yr old male digital entrepreneur from Australia and the 2nd Roommate is a 24 yr old male NYU Master Student. Both the roommates are rarely home during the day and the 2nd Roommate will barely be here during the holidays. Both are very helpful and considerate of everyone’s privacy and comfort.

We get a cleaner every two weeks and the split for each person is a cheap $20. I will be happy to have you pay only for one cycle which will be $20 only for your entire stay of ~4 weeks (24 days).

I will be showing the apartment all day on Sunday (12/10) and in the evenings after 6PM on Mon (12/11) and Tues (12/12). For any out of town folks, I can show you the apartment via FaceTime/Skype.

I’m happy to be flexible with your move in schedule so we can talk about the rate if you are looking to sublet for couple weeks only and not the full term.

At move in, you will have to pay the $1000 + $200 deposit before move in. The deposit will be refunded back on the day of the move out given that there are no damages to the Room/apartment.
