I will have a room available to rent now! The room and the common areas are ready for viewing before move-in. The room has been sanitized and disinfected, and move-in ready. It is fully furnished and is priced at $940. A security deposit of $940 and a background check is required before move-in. I am within a 3-minute walking distance of Palomar College and a 3-minute drive time from CSUSM, St. Katherine, and St. Augustine. You can easily walk to the Sprinter, which is near Palomar College. One dog and several foster kittens are already in the home, so no other animals are allowed in the home. Sorry, there are no exceptions, so don’t ask.
Both male and female tenants are welcome, and the downstairs as well as the upstairs bathroom, are shared by all tenants. The room is for SINGLE occupancy only and not for couples or those with dependent or visiting children.
The room is located downstairs near the kitchen and next to one of the female tenants. There are two shared bathrooms, one upstairs and the other downstairs, with full showers. This room is fully furnished and has a mini-fridge, ceiling fan, a double closet, a dresser, a lamp, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and a queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress and ample storage underneath. A desk can be substituted for the double closet if it is not needed or wanted. I prefer to rent to someone without their own furniture or limited furnishings so that I won’t have to put my items in storage, which is an added expense. The room has hardwood bamboo flooring and a new area rug that is welcoming to your bare feet. The monthly rent includes all utilities (gas, electric, water, WiFi (Cox Ultimate Hi-speed Internet), washer and dryer privileges, and access to Amazon Prime Video. Guests are welcome to visit, but in consideration of the other tenants, they will have to vacate the premises by 10 pm on weeknights and by midnight on weekends. NO OVERNIGHT GUESTS OR SLEEPOVERS ARE ALLOWED. If needed, there are plenty of hotels/motels in the surrounding area to accommodate your overnight, long-term, or visiting guests. There is plenty of on-street parking for your vehicle; however, reserved parking in the driveway is available for an additional monthly fee.
No drugs, edibles, partying, vaping, or smoking (medicinal or otherwise) are allowed in or around the home. If your cravings kick in, you are within walking distance of the community park, where you can puff until your heart’s content. Alcoholic beverages are allowed in your private space, such as your bedroom, but in consideration of others, they are not allowed in the common areas. While I am no Martha Stewart or OCD about cleanliness, some adults here would rather not live with slobs, tolerate strange body odors, or co-exist with someone who doesn’t pick up after themselves or is inconsiderate of others or their private space. If this is an issue for you or could remotely become one, please don’t bother applying. We are pretty happy here and don’t need or want added drama. Background checks are conducted and required before moving in.

We are happy here and don’t need or want added drama. The current tenants, both male and female, are average aged 30 and above, with the exception of a freshman student, aged 20.
