We are looking for an awesome new roommate to move into our 4 bedroom/1 loft apartment in Mar Vista on August 1st, we would prefer someone who works full-time off-site, just to let you know from the get go. We are a pretty mellow bunch of ladies who get along really well and we’re all in our mid-twenties to early-thirties and all work full-time day jobs. We’re definitely not a party place and we like to keep things quiet, especially during the week. We do have occasional roommate movie nights and you are of course welcome to have guests and friends over, but you can hear everything in this place and we would like someone who is respectful and mindful of this.

A little about the place: We are located in a quiet and nice neighborhood just a couple of miles from the beach in Mar Vista (between Venice and Culver City). We have a tiny balcony, a fireplace (we honestly never use), and a washer/dryer in unit (the best part)!!! Your room is pretty spacious and has a walk-in closet! You will have to share the upstairs bathroom. Also, you’ll have a designated shelf in the cupboard and refrigerator.

You will be on the lease and owe the roommate leaving $100 for the security deposit and have to get a credit check which is $40 cash. That’s right, the security deposit is only $100. Bills are anywhere from $15 - $35 per person each month (electric comes every other month). Your total for everything for the first month will be $900 (Rent+Deposit). You will owe extra for internet, but we will let you know how much once you move in. We also split apartment purchases every month, so you may owe that as well (i.e. costco runs).
