The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and is a little neighborhood pocket that is surrounded by Coral Gables and South Miami. It’s 1.5 miles to So. Miami (Baptist) and Larkin Hospitals, and close to Nicklaus Children’s and other hospitals. The UM campus is less than a mile away. The house itself is over 4200sf, so there is plenty of breathing space. It’s on 1.3 acres of land with lots of vegetation, so there’s kind of a country-in-the-city feel. The house is a mid-century modern so if you need new and contemporary, this isn’t the place for you; but if you want a peaceful setting and a casual, country-like environment, this fits the bill. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. Numerous stores, shops, restaurants, etc. are nearby. I live here and am quiet. There are medical and UM grad students residing here. This is a very pleasant environment for a quiet guest.
