The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and is a little neighborhood pocket that is surrounded by Coral Gables and South Miami. It’s 1.5 miles to Larkin Hospital South Miami and So. Miami (Baptist) Hospital, and close to Miami Children’s (Nicklaus) and other hospitals. The Univ of Miami campus is less than a mile away. The house itself is over 4200sf, so there is plenty of breathing space. It’s on 1.3 acres of land with lots of vegetation, so there’s kind of a country-in-the-city feel. The house is a mid-century modern, so if you need new and contemporary, this isn’t the place for you; but if you want a peaceful setting and a casual, country-like environment, this fits the bill. There is plenty of parking in the driveway on the property. Numerous stores, shops, restaurants, etc. are nearby. I am quiet, and live here. There are quiet U of Miami grad and med students residing here. This is a very pleasant environment for a quiet guest.
