Brand new 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom single-family home. I move in on June 5th. The home is a 3,104 square foot ranch-style house. It is south facing, making it great in the Colorado snow. It is an open concept kitchen. It has covered outdoor front and back patios. It is a smart home with Ring doorbell, wifi enabled thermostats, etc. The home is located in the Village at Prairie Center - a vibrant community with a TON of restaurants, shopping, entertainment, parks, trails, and open space. My kids love that it is only a few minutes’ drive to get on I-70; very easily accessible.

One side of the home dedicated to the master bedroom. The other bedroom/office and bathroom are on the other side. The roommate may occasionally have to share a bathroom if family or friends are over.

My name is Eric Hixson, I’m a male 56 year old. I am an avid football fan (go Broncos). I love camping, and have always enjoyed watching or riding anything with an engine (four wheelers, car racing). I am a Colorado native! I raised my three children in Colorado and love it here. I am moving to a brand new, 3 bedroom 2 bath home in Brighton, Colorado in June 2021.

I am looking for a roommate who can help out with the day to day, plus keep me a little company. I was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 2015. I have owned my own safety equipment company for 35 years, and still work full time, am mobile, and can drive myself. My kids do help out with things like lawn mowing and larger maintenance requirements, but I would love the company of a roommate that could help me out with household chores, which are becoming more and more difficult on my own. Specifically, I am looking for someone who will manage all the housework, my laundry, and who will cook dinner 3-4 times per week.
