I have a spare room in my 2BR condo available for rent now. It’s located in Sellwood right on the river as you can see in the photos. I am 38 year old Navy Veteran and Chef who does restaurant consulting here in Portland. I’m super friendly with everyone and like to socilaize with people I live with, usually along with something I cooked. But I do like my quiet time and space and would return that respect to a room mate in the same manner. I’m totally open minded and not judgmental of any race, religion, sex, etc. Just don’t be building a meth lab or have random folks face down on the couch in the morning and it’ll be fine. Males or females are welcome, having a couple in here would be alright as well because I’ve been in that position before and I know what a hassle it can be but it would be a tight fit if you have a bunch if stuff. If you bike/commute the sprigwater trail is literally off the patio and the Orange line and the 70 bus are very close by as well. There’s a cat named Mary Jane that lives here as well but other pets are allowed on the lease as well. $25 extra for pet rent I believe. I’m not sure if there’s a second pet deposit as I’ve already paid for Mary Jane’s. No Deposit for move in! Just intial flat utility rate of $90 to offset the overlap of the roommate’s last month of utilities upon move out. Speaking of utilities that would be the aveage, around 90, includes elec, water, sewer, garbage, and wifi. It sometimes can be less and goes up a little more in the winter depending in the use of heat. There is also a fireplace that I usually have going for the chilly and definitely soggy nights in Portland winter which cuts down on elec heating as I use a small heater fan to distribute the air in the main living space.
