Seeking a roommate for beautiful, brand new 2 bed 2.5 bath unit in Fishtown. Location is amazing, right off Girard and walking distance to everything (bars, restaurants, small grocery, public transportation, etc.). Move in would be late May or early June with 1 year lease starting June 1st. Private room is unfurnished with an ensuite bath. The rest of the place is completely furnished and impeccably styled with tons of house plants. The kitchen is enormous and has tons of storage space. In unit laundry and all appliances are brand new. The lighting/windows in this apartment are literally to DIE FOR hence the house plants. Apartment building has security system and 2 roof decks. Building is pet friendly but would prefer to live with no pets. Rent is $1025 plus utilities. There is also an option to have a parking space in the attached garage for $250/month, but there’s loss of free street parking outside. We have gigabit-speed internet through Verizon, in-unit laundry, half bath for guests. Move in could be mid May for a subleased amount, but new lease would start June 1st. Security deposit is $1087.50.

About me: I’m a 26 year old geologist who is pretty laid back during the week but enjoys hiking, a solid craft cocktail, and exploring the city over the weekends. I currently work from home due to COVID, but I spend a lot of time after hours out of the house either working out or riding my horse. I currently live here with my boyfriend (Tony) and our doctor roommate, who’s moving out to be closer to CC. Tony and I moved up here from Nashville, TN and would like to continue having a roommate fill the 2nd room because we’re very social and don’t know many people in Philly yet. Tony is a 31 year old account executive that also works from home. We are super low key during the work week and extremely clean people, so we’d like a roommate to be similar/respectful of that. We would like our roommate to be a relatively established young professional in their mid 20s to mid 30s. We are LGBTQ friendly, 420 friendly, overall very open people, etc. We love cooking at home, wine down Wednesdays, and cozying up with pizza and Netflix on Saturday nights - but we also loved going to concerts and bars pre-COVID… So we’re looking for someone with a similar lifestyle.
