I’m looking for a good roommate to live in this room and share the house with. The room is furnished, with a queen bed, desk and dresser, there is new carpet and paint, its on the second floor and has east facing windows. The bathroom is shared with two other roomies on the second floor. I own the house and live in a room on the first floor with my own bathroom.

The neighborhood is excellent, this place is in the Abell neighborhood of the greater Charles Village area. It is 4 blocks to the gates of Johns Hopkins Homewood campus, 3 blocks to MedStar Memorial Hospital and a short bike ride to MICA or Penn Station. We are right next door to the Waverly farmer’s market which happens every Saturday morning. Lots of local restraunts nearby. The neighbors are super nice and community minded.

This room is a great deal for someone staying around 3 to 12 months: there is no lease, its month to month, utilities are included (wifi, elec. gas water), its furnished, the kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, there is room in the basement to store some things. $850security deposit. I’m happy to accommodate any special needs that I can. Available August 1st.

There are four other roomates, one is a male astronomer working nearby, there is a femal working professional, and myself, staff at JHU, another room is currently unoccupied. But there will be a roommate there and you would share the bathroom with this person.

You might find me doing projects around the house, sitting in the den working on my computer, or in the kitchen whipping up a meal. I like the outdoors; hiking, biking, skiing, sitting on the porch. I work in a lab at Johns Hopkins studying the fly microbiome and I moonlight as a professional architectural photographer. I’m a pretty chill guy, like to mind my business and am tolerant of others.
