Roommate Wanted to share a 2/2 apartment at The Links (Though it is immediately adjacent to The Greens). Ground floor, washer, dryer both in-unit (and only a few years old at that), as well as a dishwasher. Brand new toilets and water heater. No deposit required. LGBT friendly, if you have any prejudice against people by gender, race, or religion then I doubt we will get along. Pets allowed*, parking is right in front of the building. Access to the resident golf course, gym, tanning bed and swimming pool.

The apartment is roughly 987 square feet. I have plenty of room with a queen-sized bed to fit my desk, TV, and electronics. I have included pictures to try and give more of a sense of scale for the room itself. Also images of the kitchen and living room as well as the pantry. I will be the sole resident and I have no pets. Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market and Dollar General are extremely close by as well as a number of fast food places just up the service road. There is also a convenient road that provides easy access to Caraway without needing to leave from Harrisburg.

An application fee of 30 dollars must be paid to the Links office via money order when you apply, this covers the cost of a background check.

Rent is 400 (800 split down the middle) due between the first and the third of the month. The current lease lasts until August after which they may choose to increase the rent. Utilities tend to run between 90-120 given the time of year (45-60 if split down the middle). Internet is (currently) 68.60 a month (34.30 split down the middle) so roughly around ~500 would be the cost per month for rent but this will vary with utility usage.

If you would like to add cable TV to the internet plan we can discuss that when appropriate. No smoking is permitted within the apartments.

*There is a pet deposit as well as an additional monthly charge for pets over 50 pounds, these would be your responsibility to pay.

I have included an image of the floor plan for the apartment. The main living area is fairly unfurnished (pictures included), I have some shelves that are not in use (you might find use for them, I honestly wouldn’t charge for them) if you have furniture or decor or just want to set up a TV in there I have no problems with that. I have included images of cabinet space that would be available to you and the pantry which is shared/split. It’s usually pretty quiet, I’ve pretty much always had decently quiet neighbors here and I can say maintenance is almost always on the ball when a request is submitted.

As long as you clean up after yourself, respect the property in addition to myself and pay your rent I really don’t mind what you do- it’s not my business. Keeping the place relatively clean, getting the bills paid on time, and mutual respect (both for one another and privacy) and low-stress/peaceful cohabitation are my major requirements. I do deal with major anxiety and depression and you do not have to understand it as long as you can respect it. I stick to my room most of the time unless it’s to grab some food or a drink.

This apartment is located more toward the Harrisburg road side/adjacent to The Greens rather than Caraway.

I don’t use any drugs (rarely even have alcohol). I’m 37, born and raised here in Jonesboro. No criminal record. I tend to spend most of my time in my room unless getting food from the kitchen or doing laundry. I don’t have but perhaps one or two visitors per month and prefer to just keep things as calm as they can be. I spend a lot of my time working on collaborative fiction and I try to relax with video games so that’s always a good topic to try and find common ground on. I deal with anxiety disorders so if you’re nervous about moving in with someone I get it. I’m just trying to find a minimal-stress arrangement in which both of us are comfortable living together. Judgement free, to each their own, I just want a mutual respect. This is the third time actually having to seek out a roommate so if there is anything you need clarified don’t hesitate to ask.
