Looking for down-to-earth roommate, private bathroom in Oakland Park, FL.

Hi, my name is Johnny. I’m 32 and I live with my 26 year old girlfriend, Pauline. We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in Oakland Park, FL. Our home is east of 95, off of Cypress Creek Blvd. It’s a great location in terms of being able to jump on the highway very easily, along with nearby shopping, parks, restaurants and public transportation. Our past roommate recently moved out and we are looking for a new roommate to share our home and bills with. Here’s the rundown:

We have 2 large dogs, so you must be pet friendly - but also must not have any pets of your own (sorry). We prefer 420 friendly and down to earth people. No smoking cigarettes in doors, only outside. We would prefer a no-drama guy, but would also consider a woman if it were the right fit. We are both responsible, laid-back, no drama, clean people and are looking for the same in a roommate. We both work 9-5 jobs, and require someone who is also working.

Your bedroom is approximately 9’ x 12’ and you would have your own private bathroom. Rent, including internet, cable, water: $900 per month. Security deposit: $450 We have been burned before, so just a heads up that we would want you to sign a personal lease with us, basically stating that you will give a 2-months notice prior to moving out. We also would like to run a background check - to check for serious offenses. We are understanding people, but also need to be safe.
