I’m pretty open to the area, since I’ll be driving to work, which is all of L.A. County, IE, OC, and San Diego. The areas I’m most attracted to are: Anything up the coast, from Hermosa to El Segundo, Torrance, Playa del-Rey/Marina del Rey, Culver City, North/West Hollywood, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, and Westchester. I’m trying to team up with a few great people, for social purposes, and of course a little more financial freedom. I’m looking into renting a 3/3, 4/3, or 4/4. It would be nice if everyone had their own bedroom. My budget is around $1500, but I can do $2000 if the place is that nice. I almost qualify on my own, but most of these places want you to at least make $13-$15K per month, and I’m a little under that. So, if we team up, we will definitely have enough income. Most places want at least a 680 credit score, but would take a little lower score, if we put more down on the deposit.
I just moved from Silicon Valley, and took a Management position in Solar, for a France based company called Engie North America. I’ll be handling many school districts Solar projects, so much of my time will be at work, or on my computer doing WFH administrative work, when I’m not in the field. All of my previous roommates have been women, and I appreciate that dynamic. I get along with women much better, because they think more like me, as far as being compassionate, understanding, and truly knowing how to communicate effectively, with regards to respect for all. It also brings a nice balance. I also have a daughter that comes every now and then, so I feel a lot more comfortable with her being around women. I rarely use the kitchen, but I am a very clean individual. I believe all common areas should stay pretty clean. In my free time I workout, read, or ride my motorcycle. Since I’ve been out here, I haven’t really had a chance to get out, but I would love to go shopping, or out every once in a while with a potential roommate. Maybe have like a roommate movie/game/dinner night, monthly, just so we can kind of stay in touch, and see how life is going. I know sometimes it can be hard to make time. I’m also ok if you’re an Intro, as I am, but would love a nice dynamic. Age is not important to me at all. My last roommates ranged from age 20-45. It’s more about comfort, and level of maturity, because I definitely don’t look my age, and live life somewhere between 20-40, as far as taking it to serious. I’m all about doing what makes “you” happy, as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone in the process.
Sorry for the long book, I just want to give you an idea of me as an individual. Hopefully I will meet some great people, and maybe build a friendship along the way.
