This comfortable room has a single bed, a work desk, a large, 6-drawer dresser, and a clothes closet in the room. The bathroom is detached and is shared, and is kept clean. Wi-fi is 1 gig. Use of kitchen, and washer and dryer. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and is a little neighborhood pocket that is surrounded by Coral Gables and South Miami. It’s 1.5 miles to Larkin Hospital South Miami and South Miami (Baptist) Hospital, and close to Miami Children’s (Nicklaus) and other hospitals. The University of Miami campus is less than a mile away. The house itself is over 4200sf, so there is plenty of breathing space. It’s on 1.3 acres of land with lots of vegetation, so there’s kind of a country-in-the-city feel. The house is a mid-century modern, so if you need new and contemporary, this isn’t the place for you; but if you want a peaceful setting and a casual, country-like environment, this fits the bill. There is plenty of parking in the driveway on the property. There’s a tennis court you may use. Smoking (of any kind) is allowed, but not inside the house. There are sitting areas outside. Numerous stores, shops, restaurants, etc. are nearby. I live here and am quiet, and often there are medical or UM students residing here. This is a pleasant environment for a quiet guest.
