Room available in huge Presidio home with brand new carpets that were just replaced in February!

We are three mid 20’s women looking for a new roommate to move in by November 1st. This shelter-in-place is rough on everybody but it has been so nice to be able to take walks around the Presidio daily. We would love to find someone who enjoys the outdoors and we can easily get along with! Overall no weird rules in this house, just be clean and respectful.

The house is a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath, 1,800 sq. foot home in the North Fort Scott section of the Presidio and is one of the only detached houses in the neighborhood (aka no neighbors within 15 feet of the house) BRAND NEW carpets, literally replaced a few months ago and our roommate has been out of town during quarantine so the carpets in the room have only been lived on for a couple months. Paint will also be touched up in the next few weeks.

Large washer and dryer in unit, tons of storage space, and a large kitchen, living, and dining area. A ten minute walk to the Golden Gate Bridge and a little less to the 28 bus line which takes you to the Marina and Richmond district in about 10 min and the Sunset in about 20, commuter buses that stop at the bridge can take you down to FiDi in 25/30 min, and the Presidio has free shuttles around the park and to downtown. It is a very roomy house with amazing views, hiking trails & is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the city.

We have our own schedules and do our own thing a lot but hang out if we’re all home, cooking or relaxing downstairs. Looking for a fun, nice, clean, drama-free girl to get along with us, share a glass of wine, and binge some Netflix on the couch. We don’t have parties/ groups of people over too frequently, guests are welcome but not feeling like we have an extra roomie, and we do like having dinner parties every now and then, holiday parties etc. The room available is the front bedroom, about 9x12 feet with a great sized folding door closet. The current roommate had a full bed and large dresser, small dresser and desk. You would be sharing the larger bathroom with 2 other girls but there is also a half-bath downstairs. We’ve never had any issues with timing.

Must be animal friendly as we have cats & dogs (not looking for any more animals at the moment but we could make an exception for a well-behaved animal that gets along with ours), LGBTQ friendly, considerate of communal spaces, and overall a nice, clean person.

We cook often so it’s important that you clean up after yourself when using the kitchen. Living and dining room wrap around and are also very spacious. There is also a small outside patio with a table, chairs, and views of the eucalyptus trees and the bay. High, slanted ceilings. Plenty of parking available on the street.

Barbecue and fire pit on the side yard and we have a 3ft high pool. We have a succulent garden that you can feel free to add any plants to. Laundry room with storage space available in there as well as a large storage unit outside. House has a storage unit outside and two hall closets and storage space in the laundry room. Rent for the room is $1,430 and the deposit is $900. Rent is month to month but we prefer someone to stay for a year. Our house utilities, PG&E, internet&cable bills vary each month but are usually, per person, about $100. We have a cleaning service to come as often as we want, usually we don’t have them come more than once every month or so and it’s about $60 per person. Ultimately, we are just looking for a great, seamless addition to our cozy home. Please reach out to me if you think you could be an amazing fit!
