Comfortable 4 bedroom, split plan, pool home in the Heather Lakes subdivision in Brandon. Minutes from the mall, the Selmon Expressway, US 301, and lots of chain restaurants and stores. The room for rent is the master’s bedroom with it’s own private bathroom, separate entrance, and a private enclosed patio. Room is at the main entrance side of the house. The main entrance of the house has a living room and dining room areas and is never used, it is furnished and renter can use it at leisure and to receive guests with prior notice/agreement. Other parts of the house are off limits, with exception of the kitchen and pool. Home is on a quiet cut-de-sac, safe, and clean. Roomie is welcome to use the pool at any time, no guest at the pool unless previously discussed and agreed with the home owner. No children at the pool, and that is non-negotiable. No cats. Willing to discuss/consider other types of pets. No smoking inside the house at any time. Smoking allowed at patio, pool area, or any outdoor space. Room is being renovated and will be available on January 1, 2021. Pictures will be added to this post after renovation. Room can be partially furnished or unfurnished, according to the selected roomie’s preference. A background check and interview will be required. Interviews will be panel interviews conducted by 3 adults females presently in the home.

The home is presently occupied by three mature females, mother, daughter, and granddaughter. Granddaughter is moving out in December. We also have a 12 y/o sweet Chocolate Lab girl, and a 5 y/o Tabby Cat (introvert and outdoors). Mother is retired and daughter is a busy professional presently working 3 days from home. Therefore a quiet space is a must. We are women of faith, Christian, but we are NOT religious. We are open minded and free spirited, with a compassionate heart, and a good sense of humor, yet assertive and no-nonsense. We love diversity and learning from others and their culture and life experiences and sharing ours. But we LOVE quiet, and we spend lots of time reading, watching TV, listening to music, and mother spends lots of time in the yard tending to her plants; mostly we both like relaxing in our own space. We are Latinas so while we love quiet we can be loud when talking to each other or on the phone, but we are aware and try to be considerate of others. We love family time, and at a minimum once a month we have family and/or close friends for a day of cooking, music, and chilling by the pool. The prefer roommate will be a mature middle age or older, professional woman, that enjoys coming home to a quiet place where she can relax after a day of work.
