ABOUT THE HOME:

We keep a tidy and clean home and rotate through a required shared chore schedule to keep the common areas clean and yards/exterior maintained. Everyone is exclusively responsible for cleaning their own bedrooms.

A dedicated office & study area in the home has dockable monitors and desk setups available for use. The house has a Nest doorbell, SimpliSafe Alarm system, Google smart home hubs, multiple Wi-Fi points, smart lightbulbs, and smart outlets.

The common areas include the large sunken living room with skylights, a (usually fully stocked) wet bar, and the hidden washer/dryer nooks. There is also a second living room adjacent to the sunken living room, and the backyard has smart-enabled, illuminated walkways and a covered patio.

The garage has additional attic storage, a home gym area with a treadmill, weights, and a pull-up bar.

The garage space is more than open for anyone to have a workspace for hobbies like painting, working on cars, or other personal projects. The driveway is 2 cars wide and can fit about 7 vehicles (if that’s ever necessary)

ABOUT THE AREA:

For amenities near the home, Swatek Park is a 5-minute walk away. The house is in the Cleveland and Venice historic neighborhoods, which are great areas to bike, run, or walk. There is a VASA gym that is $10/month and a Walmart Neighborhood Market for groceries and essentials, both ~5 minutes away. The home is approximately 10 minutes from the most popular areas around town, like Paseo, the Plaza District, Downtown, or Lake Hefner, and 15 minutes from the airport.

ROOMMATE REQUIREMENTS:

Proof of income, a background and credit check, and a roommate interview are required to move in. Ideally, we want someone to join the home and finish the lease through June ’25!

All utilities are evenly split and vary month to month, mainly when it is very hot in the summer or cold in the winter. Everyone must contribute to house chores together and maintain their bedroom on their own.

This is not a party house by any means. Hosting or having guests is typically only an occasional weekend thing or special occasion. The expectation is that anything in the home is always courteous and considerate of other roomies’ personal and professional schedules with any noise, guests, etc.

HOME LAYOUT:

The upstairs is three bedrooms with one shared bathroom. One room belongs to Wes, Guarav, and the third is the open bedroom.

The downstairs has one bedroom occupied by Zia.

Downstairs is also where the second full bathroom, connected to the living room that is available for anyone to use.

A private studio behind the home has a full bathroom and a kitchenette rented by Coleman who typically keeps to himself in that area.

I am an active-duty officer in the Air Force and have moved to Pittsburgh, PA, to start a graduate school program. I am looking for a roommate to replace the empty room in the home where I’ve lived with three friends and my sister. This is a stable, shared living situation, and everyone is focused on personal growth and development, treats each other with courtesy and respect, and is responsible with their bills and finances.

There will be 4 other occupants in the main home, Zia (F/23), Gaurav (M/25), Wes (M/38), and Coleman (M/36).
