Hey Everyone!

My roommate is moving out of our 2 bedroom apartment so I’m looking for someone to take her place beginning August 1st. The apartment is located off the 2, 5, & 6 train lines in the Bronx. The 6 train is about a 5 min walk and 2/5 are about a 10 min walk. Train ride into the city (42nd Street area) is about 30-40 mins.

Rent for the room will be $900 not including electricity & internet. Internet is $55/month and the ConEd bill runs about $50/month depending on the usage. We (obviously) will be splitting both bills.

The room will come completely unfurnished, has a decent sized closet, and 2 large windows. We face the back of the building in case that matters to some people. We currently have 2 couches & a small dining table in the kitchen but I’m not sure if my roommate is taking any of it yet. There is a laundry in our building and a small gym. I also have a cat named Jasmine who is extremely friendly and loves attention (a lot of it).

Looking for someone (preferably a female) that is willing to sign a one year lease for the available room. We will both be on the lease so please be prepared to fill out an application and be ready to submit pay stubs, bank statements, a letter of employment, a copy of your photo ID & a copy of your social security card. Management will also be running a background/credit check. A security deposit and one months rent will also be required. Person has to be down to earth, cat friendly, quiet, & most importantly be willing to clean the shared spaces i.e. the bathroom, living room, and kitchen. No additional pets (unless they live in a cage in your room like a hamster).

About me: Tidy, organized, & quiet. Not a morning person. Has random bursts of energy but tires quickly. Good communication & respectful.
